Brand Voice Profile
An account-wide Brand Voice Profile defines your brand identity, value proposition, target audience, tone guidelines, and banned buzzwords. It acts as the single source of truth for both AI copy generation and quality control across your account.
Setting up your Brand Voice
To configure your brand profile:
- Navigate to Settings → Brand voice (
/dashboard/settings/brand-voice). - Fill out your brand guidelines:
- Brand Name: Your official company or product name.
- Value Proposition: The core benefit and unique value you deliver to customers.
- Target Audience: Demographics, buyer personas, and key customer roles.
- Tone & Style Guidelines: Phrasing preferences (e.g., concise, witty, technical, authoritative).
- Banned Words & Buzzwords: A comma-separated list of terms, jargon, or competitor names to avoid.
- Click Save Brand Voice.
How Brand Voice powers MailInApp
1. Studio Copilot Grounding
When chatting with the ✨ AI Copilot in the studio editor or over the MCP Server, Gemini Pro automatically receives your account's Brand Voice guidelines. Generated copy matches your target audience tone and never uses any word in your banned list.
2. Pre-Flight Quality Inspector
The Pre-Flight Inspector scans all block text against common AI tells (such as "seamlessly", "unlock", "game-changer") and your account's custom banned words. Any match surfaces as an actionable warning card with a Focus Block button to jump directly to the node.
Team Collaboration
Brand Voice settings are saved at the account level under settings/<ownerId>.brandProfile. Every team member (owners and editors) shares the same brand guidelines, ensuring consistent tone across all campaign builders and automated journeys.
